At Meza Dental, we began serving international patients in 2004 to bring affordable, top-class care to anyone who needed it. We are proud of our work and the number of people we have helped in the years since.
To this day, our mission is to continue to grow and improve to continue providing the most inclusive services possible.
However, a comfortable experience also includes what happens outside our dentists’ office. That’s why we created our tourism division and began offering our patients help with accommodations, activities, and more.
Our Guide to Cancún
We recently celebrated the grand opening of our brand-new clinic in Cancún, Mexico, one of the most popular tropical destinations on the planet. While the core of the Meza Dental mission is to revitalize your smile, and having a second clinic just a short flight away is exciting for us, there’s another reason we can’t wait to tell you about it.
As much as we love to talk teeth, we would be remiss not to share the other reason we’re delighted to share this new office — location. A journey to Cancún is a chance to do more than revitalize your smile — it’s a chance to explore a town built from the ground up to enhance the beauty, adventure, and culture of Mexico’s coast.
That’s why Meza Dental has tourism staff dedicated to helping you fill your between-appointment days with fun in the sun. Tell them what you’re looking for, and they will organize it for you or help you arrange excursions with transportation, a bilingual guide, food and beverages, and experiences you’ll remember forever!

Explore Mexican Culture
Mexican culture is rich, colorful, and steeped in tradition, so exploring the city’s museums, theatres, and cultural events can be a great way to immerse yourself in the joyful lifestyle that is so popular with tourists from around the globe.
Here are a few fantastic places to discover all things Mexico:
Dive into Mayan History
…at the beautifully designed Mayan Museum which seamlessly blends tropical outdoor spaces with airy indoor showing areas. Iconic pieces collected from Quintana Roo, Palenque, Chichén Itzá, and Comalcalco, are available to enjoy in free-standing display cases. Stunning sculptures dot the 8-meter-high space. Admission to the museum also includes access to San Miguelito, a pre-Colombian archeological site connected to the museum by a corridor.
Chichen Itza
This pre-Hispanic archeological site is one of the most important and most visited destinations in Mexico. UNESCO named it one of the new wonders of the world in 2007.
The towering stepped pyramid for which it is famous is actually only one of 26 different ruins (of different eras) on the site, built by the Mayans more than 1,500 years ago.
Discover the Wonders of Modern Cancún
Take a guided walking tour of the city, where you can learn about its history, wonder at the vibrant street art that graces many of the local buildings, taste some local tequila, and explore an authentic Mexican market where you can find intricately made handicrafts, taste local delicacies and shop.
Find Adventure Just Past Your Doorstep!
Costa Rica and Mexico enjoy thriving adventure tourism industries, making them great destinations for people who love pushing their boundaries and pumping their adrenaline. Here are just a few fantastic adventures that you can have in Cancún…
Celebrate Life with Mexican Cuisine, Music, and Dancing
Tacos and Beer!
Yes, you read that right. Remember when I said people tend to think of tacos and mariachi bands when they think about Mexico? It’s with good reason. This guided culinary tour will give you the inside scoop on the city’s best tacos and beers, with a side of mariachi and a dash of history to round out the trip.
Crystal Clear Waters and the World’s Most Beautiful Beaches
Cenotes
A Cenote is a sinkhole or natural pit when limestone bedrock gives way, exposing the groundwater underneath. That definition may not sound very appealing, and that’s a shame because they can hold sparkling turquoise waters touched by dappled sunlight that filters down from above. They are magical places, perfect for swimming… and Mexico has several to choose from!
Playa Del Carmen
One of the most popular beach towns in Mexico is Playa Del Carmen. Its beautiful palm-lined white sand beach and its pedestrian walkway, lined with quaint shops and artisan stalls, make it a great place to spend time in the tropical sun.
