Problem
This patient came to us because his main concern was an aesthetic issue. He told us “I am concerned about the general condition of my smile because I am very young, I want to look good and I want to smile again”

Approach
After a clinical exam, a full set of x-rays, a full set of photos, a couple of impressions and bite registration. We realized there were worn teeth, discolorations, and a very traumatic bite. In order to get an ideal treatment, we had a meeting with our lab technician to discuss cosmetics and functional aspects of this case. We determined to go with 28 full porcelain crowns (14 on the top and 14 on the bottom) to allow open the bite and fix the rest of the esthetic and functional issues found.

A day later we started our clinical process that involves teeth preparations and impressions, then temporary teeth were placed in the patient’s mouth, based on a mock-up, or digital smile design. A new series of photographs was done to understand how they look on the patient. On this same appointment, we had cosmetic discussions with the patient, This is a step within our protocol that consists of choosing color, texture, translucency, and other aesthetic aspects, so in that way, the laboratory can begin to do the artistic work with porcelain.

A week and a half later, We did ” The esthetic try”. We placed the new crowns in his mouth to evaluate the fitting And esthetics.
End
The next day we insert the teeth always with the previous approval of the patient, also check the bite, and take final x rays and photos.
Daniel returned home. Now he is confident smiling.
