The Challenge
The patient reported being unhappy with the appearance of her smile and experiencing significant difficulty chewing due to missing lower molars, which affected both function and confidence.
The Solution
After a comprehensive evaluation—including clinical examination, medical and dental history, CT scan, digital impressions, and a full set of photographs—we digitally mocked up the case. This allowed us to design her new smile and precisely plan the placement of dental implants in the lower jaw.
First Visit
Six dental implants were placed in the lower jaw to replace missing cuspids and molars. The surgery was minimally invasive and performed without raising a flap, resulting in an easy and comfortable recovery.
The patient returned home for four months to allow proper implant integration.
Second Visit
On the first day, the mock-up was tested in the patient’s mouth and analyzed through photographs and a clinical exam. We then prepared the upper teeth for veneers and took final impressions for both the upper veneers and the implant-supported crowns on the lower jaw.
The following day, a plastic prototype of the final restorations was tested to verify fit, function, and aesthetics. After discussing aesthetic details and personal preferences with the patient, our laboratory began fabricating the final restorations.
A few days later, the veneers and implant-supported crowns were delivered. The bite was carefully tested and adjusted, and the patient was sent home to try her new teeth during normal daily activities.
At the final appointment, minor bite adjustments were completed, and final X-rays and photographs were taken.
Our in-house lab ensured that the dental implants and veneers were perfectly color-matched for a 100% natural look
Today, the patient reports being extremely happy to have regained comfortable chewing function and is delighted with her new, beautiful smile.
