The Challenge
A young patient came to our clinic seeking to improve her smile. She had been unhappy with it for years and noticed her teeth were shifting over time.
The Solution
After a full clinical exam, medical and dental history review, CT scan, and aesthetic photographs, we discovered severe periodontitis. This silent disease is rarely this aggressive at such a young age. Sadly, 95% of her teeth were hopeless.
We explained the situation and discussed options. The patient chose a full-arch All-on-6 dental implant treatment.
First Visit
During the initial surgery, we extracted all her teeth, cleaned the bone, and placed six implants per arch. We also provided immediate temporary dentures for her to use during the six-month healing phase.
Second Visit
We began with digital impressions of the implants and coordinated with our lab to design her final smile. Multiple plastic try-ins allowed us to perfect her bite and aesthetics before fabricating the definitive zirconia prosthesis.
Final Result
A few days later, we delivered her custom zirconia All-on-6 restorations. After fine-tuning the bite and aesthetics, she left with a fully functional, natural-looking smile. At a young age, she regained her confidence and quality of life thanks to this advanced treatment.
