Bridal Smile Perfection Case Study:
Correcting Asymmetry and Diastemas with Zirconia Veneers
The Challenge
With her wedding day approaching, this patient sought a solution for several aesthetic concerns that made her self-conscious.
Her primary complaints included noticeable spaces (diastemas) between her front teeth, uneven tooth coloration, and significant structural asymmetry.
Specifically, her central incisors were mismatched in color, and her gum line was uneven, making the teeth on her upper left appear taller than those on the right.

The Solution
The “Symmetry First” Plan. After a comprehensive diagnostic phase—incorporating 3D CT scans, digital models, and facial photography—our team identified that the root of the issue was “uneven gum architecture.” To achieve a balanced, radiant smile, we designed a multidisciplinary plan:
Laser Gum Contouring: To level the gum line and create a symmetrical “frame” for the teeth.
6 Custom Zirconia Veneers: To close the gaps, unify the color, and provide a high-strength, brilliant finish.
The Itinerary:
Day 1: The initial clinical exam was done along with data collection and a digital impression of her mouth.
Our technicians started the digital mock-up to have it ready for day 2
Day 2: The digital printout of the mock-up was fitted in the patient’s mouth for a picture analysis of the proposed outcome. After knowing the suggested mock-up was right, and the patient liked it, the teeth preparation took place along with a final digital impression. Plastic temporaries were seated on the prep teeth. The patient was helped to select all micro aesthetics for the final veneers. Our technicians started making the final Zirconia veneers.
Day 3: We took off the temporary and tested the final restoration prototypes on plastic to assure 100% predictable outcome according to function and aesthetics.
Day 4: Off.
Day 5: We presented the final restorations for patients’ acceptance. Once the patient accepted the final restoration, it was seated permanently in the patient’s mouth. Bite and function were double-checked. An impression was made to make a mouthguard for the patient.
Day 6: The patient came for a final bite check-up after she had used them to chew and speak with them. The mouth guard was delivered. The final set of pictures and x-rays were taken.

The Result
In just one work week, the patient achieved a symmetrical, bright, and gap-free smile.
She left our clinic not just with new veneers but also with the confidence to smile throughout her entire wedding celebration!
The total cost of this smile enhancement, including consultation, digital smile design, x-rays, gum contouring, and six Zirconia veneers, was $3950.
